What if the team was in the room?

The story behind the movement: After returning from conferences inspired but struggling to transfer that vision back to their teams, Pastors Kevin and Sheila Gerald asked a simple question:

What if the team was in the room? That question led to a conviction: Vision does not scale without alignment.

When Lead Pastors and Second Chair leaders grow together instead of separately, the entire church benefits.

And that is where Team Church began.

From a Simple
Question to a Global Movement

Team Church was never meant to be an event. It was designed to solve a leadership problem. How do you build alignment, culture, and trust if only one leader is in the room? That question became a movement of churches committed to growing together.

2002

Team Church begins as a Leadership Conference designed to bring Pastors and key leaders into the room together.

2010

Team Church Conference attracts church leaders from all over North America and even Globally as churches begin adopting the Team Church approach to culture and shared leadership.

2016

Team Church goes on the road for the first time

2017

TC Road Events Begin including TCOne Day.
First Canadian One Day

2020

The challenges facing churches reinforce the need for healthy teams, strong culture, and resilient leadership.

2021

Team Church Insiders birthed

2022

Team Church evolves into Team Church Org — expanding beyond events into leadership development strategies and ministry resources.

2023

The Team Church Ecosystem launches to provide practical support for churches at every level of leadership.

TC Road Events multiplies with regional events, One Days, and training camps across North America.

2024

Team Church Canada is officially born

2026

A growing global network of pastors and leaders committed to building healthy teams that build healthy churches.

2027

Team Church Conference expands to serve leaders on both coasts with West Coast and East Coast conference experiences, making it easier than ever for teams to grow together.
